Activities

Read about some of our annual & semi-annual Pack activities below.  Awesome adventures for our Scouts!

Dayton Dragons Campout

Scouts and our families are recognized before and during the game with a pre-game parade and scoreboard acknowledgement in the 3rd inning. After the game, we set up camp in the field and watch a movie on the scoreboard!

Zoo Overnight

Scouts and a guardian have a peak into the evening hours at the Zoo. Enjoy some fun with furry friends AND scout friends! Join us in November!

Memorial Day Flag Placement

Scouts honor our fallen military by attending a flag ceremony and then placing flags on all the graves before Memorial Day.

Pinewood Derby

A Scout Classic!  Scouts build and design their pinewood derby cars, and then race other scouts in multiple heats. Fun event with trophies for the winners!

Scout Campouts

Pack/family Campouts in the fall & spring, Scout Day and Overnight Camps in the summer. Campfires, skits, hikes, and scouting adventures!

Snow Tubing

Another fun semi-annual activity! Usually sometime in January, we hit the mountain as a Pack!

Scouting for Food

Service is such an important piece of scouting. Scouting for Food is one of our annual service projects. Scouts and guardians door drop flyers and food bags in targeted neighborhoods; they return the following week to pick up the filled bags for a local food bank.

Scout Adventure Days

Adventure Days at Scout Camps include BB guns, archery, first-aid, knots, etc... Lots of fun while learning about safety and survival skills.

Blue & Gold

Annual pack banquet celebrating the founding of the scouts.  We hold the Bobcat ceremony at our Blue & Gold Banquet. Our Arrows of Light earn their rank and "crossover" to their Scouts BSA Troop in a ceremony at the banquet.

Den  Activities

In addition to the larger Pack Events, we have 2 Den meetings and 1 Pack meeting monthly. At Den meetings, we work toward belt loop (merit badge) requirements. Activities toward belt loop requirements and goals include hikes, campfires, physical fitness activities, tree planting, star gazing, knot tying, first aid, meeting community heroes, team building activities, games, crafts, skits, songs, flag ceremonies, plant & animal identification, and so much more!
